Karen's Book Light... Dos

I read a book... write a review... give my opinion. I am a huge YA fan, but dip into the occasional New Adult if it isn't too explicit.

Unravel Me: Shatter Me Series, Book 3

Unravel Me - Tahereh Mafi, Kate Simses “Hope. It's like a drop of honey, a field of tulips blooming in the springtime. It's a fresh rain, a whispered promise, a cloudless sky, the perfect punctuation mark at the end of a sentence. And it's the only thing in the world keeping me afloat.”― Tahereh Mafi, Unravel Me “He's looking so deeply into my eyes that I'm surprised I haven't buckled under the intensity and I realize then, right in this moment I realize that everything about him is intense. Nothing about him is manageable or easy to compartmentalize. He's too much. Everything about him is too much. His emotions, his actions, his anger, his aggression. His love.”― Tahereh Mafi, Unravel Me Oh my oh my! Mafi's writing makes my heart and breathing speed up. I could read her words over and over and never get tired of them. Not to mention her creative mind. This book goes everywhere except where I expected it to go. Shocking twists and turns all throughout the book. My only complaint was Juliets attitude in the beginning, which seemed to drag a little. She got lost in her self pity and doubt....But I was excited to get a little more Kenji. Loved his happy self. There really isn't anymore I can say without spoiling, so I will just leave you some great quotes.
