I wasn't sure if I was going to give 3 or 4 stars to this book. The begining was kinda slow, but after she was unfrozen it became a lot more interesting. I am all about rebellion, and going against the grain so to speak, especially if the grain is so wrong! Elder, the main male character, let me down at first, by trusting some that had proven themselves not trustworthy, but in the end he won my heart back. I still don't know how I feel about the book. When I thought I didn't like it, it was all I could think about when I wasn't reading it. Maybe I will read it again sometime and I will think differently about it. If there is a sequel to Across the Universe, I am pretty sure I will read it!
